Hey everyone,
If you're like me and always on the lookout for the next opportunity to kick back and relax, you'll be thrilled to know that another long vacation is just around the corner in the UAE! After the blissful nine-day Eid al-Fitr holiday, it's time to gear up for some more leisure time.
The UAE Cabinet has already announced the full lineup of public holidays for 2024, and the next one is coming up sooner than you might think. Arafat Day and Eid al-Adha are on the horizon, promising another mini-holiday to savor.
Here's the scoop: Arafat Day is set to fall on Dhul Hijjah 9 AH, which is likely to translate to Sunday, June 16th, according to Ibrahim, President of the UAE Astronomical Society.
Following that, Eid al-Adha is expected to be celebrated on Monday, June 17th.
Now, here's the exciting part – the UAE Cabinet has given the green light for a four-day holiday from June 16th to June 19th to commemorate Arafat Day and Eid al-Adha.
That means, with the weekend thrown into the mix, UAE residents are in for a fantastic five-day public holiday extravaganza from Saturday, June 15th to Wednesday, June 19th.
Of course, it's important to keep in mind that these dates are subject to lunar observation, so it's always a good idea to stay updated as the time draws nearer.
So, mark your calendars, folks, and start planning those getaways or staycations – whatever floats your boat! Whether it's a trip to the beach, a family gathering, or simply some well-deserved downtime at home, make the most of this upcoming holiday to recharge and rejuvenate.
Here's to another fabulous break in the UAE – see you all on the flip side of relaxation!
Cheers!
