The Federal Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security Authority (ICP) announced in a press release on Wednesday that the amnesty period, starting from September 1 (Sunday) and lasting for two months, will not impose any entry bans or fines on entrants.
The ICP also clarified that the amnesty plan covers all types of visas, including tourist visas and expired residency visas.
According to the ICP, this is the best opportunity for those who are illegally staying in the UAE, as they can either legalize their residency status or leave the UAE without being fined.
The ICP added that no overstay fines or exit fees will be charged.
This will be the fourth amnesty plan implemented by the UAE government since 2007.
PS: The last amnesty was six years ago, so seize the opportunity!!! Change to legal status to continue staying in the UAE, or exit normally without fines! After leaving, you can return at any time!
