In a heart-wrenching turn of events, Saiful Islam, a Bangladeshi cleaner employed in Dubai, tragically lost his life in a car accident.
The incident occurred on January 28th, leaving his family in Bangladesh reeling from shock and grief.
Saiful had reached out to a fellow Bangladeshi, Joy, via WhatsApp just before the accident, asking him to bring back his favorite fried fish upon his return from a trip to Bangladesh.
However, before Joy could relay the message to Saiful's wife, tragedy struck, and Saiful succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident.
Adding to the family's anguish, the driver responsible for the accident fled the scene, leaving them with no closure. Despite more than three weeks passing since the incident, authorities have yet to identify the driver or provide any information about compensation.
Saiful's family is not only grappling with the loss of their loved one but also facing uncertainty about the repatriation of his body. His wife, still in Bangladesh, has expressed her deep pain and frustration, revealing that they have received only 1200 dirhams in compensation from Saiful's employer.
As Saiful's family continues to mourn his loss, they hope for justice and closure in the face of this devastating ordeal.
