On May 8, Consul General Ou Boqin paid a visit to Ahmed Suleim, Executive Chairman of Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC).
Consul General Ou said, DMCC is not only the world's leading trade and business center, but also the cradle of growth of Chinese enterprises in Dubai, its tea, coffee and other trading centers and China's industrial complementarity, cooperation potential. We look forward to helping Chinese enterprises develop and grow through DMCC's China Business Day and other platforms, and promoting China-Arab economic and trade cooperation to a new level.

Mr. Ahmed welcomed Consul General Ou to his new post and introduced the development history of DMCC. He said DMCC is one of the most popular free zones for Chinese companies in the UAE, with more than 860 Chinese companies now residing in the zone, which has maintained a 25% growth over the past two years, highlighting the good momentum of China-Arab trade and economic relations. He will continue to support the work of the Consulate General, promote the exchange of visits between the two sides, and promote the economic and trade exchanges between China and the UAE.
