A new study reveals that Dubai is a very affordable choice for travelers seeking an exciting city destination without breaking the bank.
Among the top 10 most visited cities globally, Dubai ranks as the 8th most affordable city in terms of one-night accommodation costs.
Conducted by student travel company Rustic Pathways, the study analyzed the cost per person for a one-night stay in various cities. This included expenses for hotels, food, transportation, entertainment, drinks, and tips. They found that the average total cost for a one-night stay in Dubai is $465 per person.
While Dubai is not the cheapest option, it proves to be more affordable for city breaks than major tourist hotspots like Paris ($557 per night) and New York ($687 per night). The most affordable city is Berlin, Germany's capital, with a one-night stay costing just $266.
In Dubai, the largest expense for visitors is hotel rooms, with an average cost of $340 per night for a mid-range double room, second only to New York. However, local transportation costs in Dubai are relatively low, averaging just $13 per day.
This study highlights Dubai’s competitive pricing, making it an attractive destination for budget-conscious travelers.
