UAE President extends condolences to family of UAE officer killed in Somalia


UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of Colonel Mohamed Al Mansouri, a brave member of the UAE Armed Forces who tragically lost his life in a terrorist attack in Somalia. The UAE President's condolences were expressed during a visit to the Condolence Auditorium in Abu Dhabi, where he paid tribute to Colonel Al Mansouri's unwavering dedication and service to his country and its people.

Colonel Mohamed Al Mansouri was among the four UAE Armed Forces members who lost their lives in the attack, as confirmed by the UAE Ministry of Defense on Sunday. The bodies of the fallen soldiers were repatriated to Abu Dhabi on Sunday morning, marking a solemn moment of remembrance and mourning for the nation.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also honored the memory of the martyrs, emphasizing the UAE's commitment to upholding peace and security both regionally and globally.
