On April 12th, there were new developments in the case. The Pak Kun Sai District Police Station, along with a joint investigation team from the Nakhon Si Thammarat Province Police, the Immigration Office, the Army Public Relations Department, and a Chinese translator, conducted further inquiries into Su's situation.
According to Su, he hails from Hubei Province, China. He was introduced by acquaintances to work as a waiter in Vietnam. However, instead of Vietnam, he was taken to Laos against his will.
Subsequently, he was separated from his other 10 companions and, along with one other Chinese person and two Thai individuals, was driven to Thailand without knowing the destination.
During the journey, he saw a sign reading "Police" and decided to jump out of the car to seek help from the authorities, but the others did not dare to accompany him.
In the latest updates, Su has contacted another fellow traveler, who has sought help from the Wang Chao Police Station in Loei Province.
Meanwhile, Su's parents have been informed of the situation through the Chinese consulate in Thailand and are preparing to travel to Thailand to bring Su back home.
PS: He is only 16 years old.
