UAE BUSINESS NEWS :
Flying cabs will take off from Ras Al Khaimah in 2027. On Tuesday, authorities announced that they had signed an agreement with Skyports Infrastructure to introduce air cabs in the UAE.
The announcement was made at a press conference held on the second day of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), where a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA), the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTDA) and Skyports Infrastructure.
Speaking at the event, Raki Phillips, CEO of RAKTDA, explained:- "This means that travel time from Dubai Airport to Marjan Island will be reduced to 15-18 minutes."
He added that this development will also support RAK in achieving its goal of tripling the number of tourists and doubling the number of hotels over the next five years.
