Kwame A-Plus, an independent parliamentary candidate for Gomoa Central, has made a shocking revelation that he possesses crucial information regarding the murder of investigative journalist Ahmed Suale.
Ahmed Suale, a renowned journalist, was brutally shot dead in Accra on January 16, 2019, in a suspected contract killing. The case remains unsolved, with many calling for justice.
A-Plus, known for his outspoken nature, has now come forward claiming to have knowledge about the perpetrators behind Suale's murder. However, he has stated that he will only share this information with the authorities if he is provided with a security guarantee.
"I know who killed Ahmed Suale, but I need protection to reveal the truth," A-Plus said in an interview.
Following this strong revelation, The Ghana Police Service has today, 15th July 2024, invited Mr. Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus, to assist Police ongoing investigation into the death of Ahmed Suale.
The Cold Case Unit established in October 2021, under the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service to handle cases of this nature has been working on the investigation into the case and closely engaging with the deceased’s family.
The Police says it is pleased that Mr. Kwame Asare Obeng (A-Plus) has made indication that he has some information that could assist the ongoing investigation, and he has been invited accordingly.
