UAE leaders have expressed their deepest condolences to the Iranian government over the tragic deaths of Iranian President Saeed Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Abdollahian and members of their entourage in a helicopter crash.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, wrote on X: "I express my deepest condolences to the Iranian government and people on the deaths of President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Abdullahian and their entourage in a tragic accident. We pray that God will grant them eternal peace and express our heartfelt sympathy to their families. The UAE stands in solidarity with Iran at this difficult time."
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also took to the X platform to express his condolences.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum wrote on X: "Our condolences and sincere sympathies go out to the brotherly Iranian people and their leaders on the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister in a painful accident. Our hearts are with you at this difficult time."
