UAE President Awarded Global Humanitarian Personality Prize
According to the Emirates News Agency, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) announced the winners of the inaugural PAM Global Humanitarian Personality Prize at its 18th plenary session held in Braga, Portugal.
UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has been honored with the inaugural PAM Global Humanitarian Personality Prize for his outstanding contributions to humanitarian work worldwide over the past decades.
Every year, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean recognizes organizations and individuals who have made significant contributions to building bridges of communication between the various nations and peoples of the region, promoting mutual understanding, and respect.
This year, the inaugural PAM Global Humanitarian Personality Prize is specifically awarded to those who have made extraordinary efforts in providing political mediation or humanitarian assistance to save lives.
While this is the first time PAM has awarded the Global Humanitarian Personality Prize, the organization has previously recognized numerous dignitaries, including Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
