Shatta Wale gets new Bentley after VGMA 2019 clash with Stonebwoy
Shatta Wale is set to add a new Bentley to his expensive car fleet - The new Bentley is a gift promised by Wale's godfather Aik Livingston Abani Shatta Wale may have come under a lot of criticisms following his clash with Stonebwoy at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards on Saturday, May 18, 2019. But it looks like, not everyone is lambasting him as Shatta Wale is set to get a new Bentley car as a gift from one of his supporters, Aik Livingston Abani, amid the brouhaha. Abani, the CEO of MadHaus Entertainment, who is known to be a godfather to Shatta Wale promised to buy the Bentley for Wale because he considered him as the African dancehall god.
According to Abani, he always knew Shatta Wale had it and this was only his stepping stone "Charles Nii Armah Mensah, the African dancehall god, the BEAST, the G. O. A. T. the ENTERTAINER, King of the streets, God’s Gift to Africa, the teacher, most loyal brother. I knew it, always knew it, you have it, always have, always will. The sky is your stepping stone. Enemies no reach, they are all learners. Keep doing you, REIGN FOREVER my blood. You see that Bentley? It’s on me, mark it on the wall, the Bentley is on me. Keep doing you, BROTHER!!! SHATTA WALE NIMA!!", Abani wrote on Facebook.
Abani's post came up on the morning of Sunday, May 19, 2019, which was many hours after the fracas with Stonebwoy had happened. It is not known if the car gift and the general shower of praise from Abani were because of Shatta Wale's Highlife song and Reggae-Dancehall song of the year awards he had earlier won on the night or the attempt to get on the stage during Stonebwoy's award. Either way, it looks Shatta Wale is getting something good from a relatively very bad situation for him.
