During the UAE's record-breaking rains in April, an Egyptian woman in Ajman was unable to go out to buy food.
Upon learning of her situation, Ajman Police Officer Salah Muhammad Al Bloushi took her to buy daily necessities in his patrol car. He also helped nine other stranded residents.
As a gesture of gratitude, the Egyptian woman shared a video thanking Al Bloushi, Ajman Police and UAE authorities for their response during the torrential rains, which went viral on social media.
Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, honored Al Bloushi for his humanitarian role.
Al Bloushi thanked the Ajman Police General Commander for this gesture, stressing that what he does for the public is a national and moral responsibility that reflects a positive image of the UAE and the leadership of the Ajman Police.
