The Dubai Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department has recently launched a prayer app called Dulook DXB, making it the world's first government-backed application that adheres to Islamic jurisprudence and astronomical standards.
This groundbreaking app, supervised by the International Astronomical Center, provides accurate prayer times for Muslims worldwide and is free from advertisements.
During the development process, the department utilized intelligent methods and augmented reality technology to achieve the goal of accurately calculating prayer times for Muslims around the world.
The app covers over 50,000 known cities and 190 countries globally, allowing users to automatically locate themselves through various options or manually select from a world map or city list for each country.
Dulook DXB not only provides accurate prayer times but also considers altitude factors with a high level of responsibility to ensure alignment with official times in multiple countries. Users can easily access the Qibla direction and choose from various shapes and sizes of widgets, enhancing their personalized user experience.
