Stonebwoy's first social media activity after VGMA ban shows he is unconcerned

Stonebwoy has dropped his first activity on social media after he was banned indefinitely by the VGMA board. On Thursday, May 23, 2019, the VGMA board, in a news conference handed an indefinite ban to Stonebwoy and his dancehall rival, Shatta Wale.

The two have been asked by the VGMA board to return the two awards they won during the 2019 VGMA. However, following the VGMA board’s decision, Stonebwoy has reacted and it shows he is unconcerned with the latest development. Stonebwoy dropped a short video of a song (No Weakness) he was featured by Jamaican star Chi Ching Ching. Stonebwoy's fans then took to the comment section to console the Ashaiman-born singer.

@vince_jr__: "I owe my allegiance to you NOW and FOREVER."

@stonebwoynews: "King of African dancehall." @troubleman419: "World Hero for a reason ."

@maqafui: "God will surely see you through." @selasie_haygan: "Abwoy I love your spirit. Let nothing pull you down. #BHIM."

Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale’s ban came after the two marred Saturday's, May 18, 2019 award ceremony. It all started when Stonebwoy was named as the dancehall Artiste of the Year and Shatta Wale and his team went onto the stage to allegedly congratulate him. However, Stonebwoy’s camp felt the move was an attack, forcing the Baafira crooner to pull out a gun. SOURCE; YEN.COM.GH
