UAE BUSINESS NEWS : Chinese-built World's Largest 3D Seismic Transition Zone Exploration Project Successfully Completed in UAE
The world's largest 3D seismic transition zone exploration project, constructed by a Chinese enterprise, has recently been successfully completed in the capital city of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company's (ADNOC) transition zone exploration project stands as the largest of its kind globally, utilizing a fully nodal operational system for the first time. It incorporates a plethora of new technologies and equipment with independent intellectual property rights from Chinese enterprises. With a construction area covering nearly 10,000 square kilometers, it spans approximately 400 kilometers of Abu Dhabi's coastline. The project encompasses various complex terrains, including shallow seas, beaches, salt marshes, deserts, and traverses sensitive areas such as oil fields and nuclear power plants, making the construction environment exceptionally challenging.
This milestone achievement highlights the successful collaboration between Chinese expertise and Emirati resources, emphasizing the commitment to innovation and advancement in the oil and gas industry. The completion of this groundbreaking project marks a significant step forward in enhancing exploration capabilities and extracting valuable resources in the UAE, further solidifying its position as a global leader in the energy sector.
