In the wake of this week's record-breaking rainfall, several hotels and electronics companies have stepped up to support UAE residents impacted by extensive flooding. These initiatives include free and discounted hotel stays and complimentary repair services for damaged electronic devices.

Al Habtoor Group's founder and chairman, Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, announced on Friday that his hotels would offer rooms to affected families. He mentioned that some Emirati families from Dubai, whose homes were damaged by the rain, are already staying at the group’s Al Habtoor City hotels on Sheikh Zayed Road.

Additionally, Al Habtoor pledged AED 17 million in financial support to repair the damaged homes of Emirati families. The group will also host weddings at their hotels for residents of Al Lisaili to avoid postponing any planned ceremonies due to the recent weather conditions.

Khalaf Al Habtoor stated, "The aim of these efforts is to ensure that every family affected by the emergency is safe and stable and can get their lives back to normal as quickly as possible. Within our modest means, we stand alongside government agencies and charitable organizations to face the challenges posed by nature and promote the spirit of cooperation and solidarity, which is one of the core values of UAE society."

Meanwhile, Premier Inn Middle East announced special weekly rates to support Dubai residents affected by the recent storms who need safe and affordable accommodations.

From Friday, April 19, to May 5, rooms at Dragon Mart Hotel start at AED 1,250 for a seven-night stay, while the brand's Silicon Oasis hotel starts at AED 1,300. Residents will also enjoy a 20% discount on food and beverages.

Additionally, leading electronics retailer Jumbo Electronics is offering free services for devices damaged during this week's rainfall, providing much-needed relief for those who lost valuable electronic equipment due to the flooding.

These collective efforts highlight the spirit of community and solidarity in the UAE, as businesses and organizations come together to support those in need during times of crisis.
