After living in a rented apartment for 40 years, MK dreamed of purchasing a property for his family. After careful consideration, this UAE-born foreigner finally bought a villa worth 4 million dirhams in Falconcity of Wonders - Eastern Residence.

Thinking he could just wait for the property to be delivered, what he didn't expect was that after paying 1.6 million dirhams for the property, he might end up with nothing.

Due to a legal dispute between Falcon Properties and Dubailand (LLC), the land on which Falcon Properties built the villas was auctioned off. MK is not the only unlucky one in this incident. Some investors, like MK, are currently facing the fear of losing their homes and lifelong savings.

More than 20 investors desperately reached out to local media outlets, hoping that media coverage would help them obtain a fair judgment.

MK painfully said, "My family and children keep asking me when we can move into our new home, and I have no answer. We don't know what happened or when the money slipped away from our hands. We just keep paying."
