People who can choose to go abroad to fight for their lives are basically savvy, but that doesn't stop some people who are obviously very smart from still being cheated when they go abroad.
As the saying goes, there is no defense against a set-up, and if you happen to be less mindful, then you may be at risk of being scammed when you arrive abroad.
Basically, people who are easy to be cheated abroad will have these characteristics.
The first characteristic is being very naive and innocent. We often say that if a person can retain some childishness, they will appear very young and their state will also be natural.
But if not only do they retain childishness, but also lack the vigilance towards the adult world like a child, and do not understand the complexity of human nature, it is very likely that they will be used and deceived by malicious individuals.
People who are naive and innocent are actually not suitable for going abroad to work. In their past experiences, they have been too well protected, they simply have not learned how to compete for resources with others, and they do not know how to protect their rights in complex environments. In a dog-eat-dog society, naive and innocent people always get hurt the most.
Going abroad to work tests both IQ and EQ. Actually, everyone is just an ordinary person, IQ does not vary much, but the gap in EQ is huge.
It's difficult for people with low EQ to thrive abroad. It's not just because they cannot speak well, sometimes they cannot even understand what others mean, they do not know whether others are being polite or genuinely concerned for them.
People with low EQ also struggle in interpersonal relationships, and at critical moments, they don't even have someone who can speak up for them.
Some people may think it's okay to have low EQ, as long as they do their job well. But the reality is, even if you excel at what you do, you still need adequate EQ to make yourself seen and acknowledged.
People with low EQ are also easily targeted by those with ill intentions, sometimes if they are lucky, they may just suffer a loss and learn a lesson, but if they are unlucky, they may lose money.
The way things are done abroad is sometimes not the same as the way things are done at home. People who lack resilience mindfulness may be uneasy with change and uncertainty, and find it difficult to adapt to new environments and situations.
They may show anxiety and resistance to change rather than being flexible and responsive to challenges.
If one does not change some of the shortcomings in oneself, but instead chooses to avoid them, the problems will not be solved and one will be plagued by more problems.
The sign of a person's maturity is to be able to reflect on oneself from time to time, to face one's shortcomings and deficiencies openly, and to strive to change.
Success and failure in life are all decided by oneself, learn to change in order to make oneself more and more excellent.
Other things may be difficult to change, but emotional intelligence can be learned. People with high emotional intelligence are good at remembering other people's names, and they can remember them by heart.
By remembering other people's names, others will be more willing to get close to you, and you will be friends, you will have more and more friends, have a good circle of friends.
People with high EQ are tolerant, broad-minded, the bigger their heart, the bigger their stage.
People with high EQ do not nitpick, they have a heart of tolerance and acceptance.
People with high EQ do not blame others, do not complain about others.
In fact, complaining and blaming are both negative emotions, they are contagious.
Highly emotionally intelligent people only do things that make sense, not things that don't.
